Michael has just returned from his annual 3-week holiday in Italy, during which time Courtney and Sarah kept things running smoothly in Ottawa. Please read on for the salon’s summertime updates.

Adventures in Italy

During his vacation, Michael spent a day at the Davines Comfort Zone Spa in Montecceli, Terme, where he enjoyed impeccable service and exceptional treatments.

But it wasn’t all fun and games – he also attended a full day of Davines training on various products, and previewed new styling products and a new line of finest pigments a new colour. Watch for these new products to arrive at the salon in September.

Welcome, Andrew!

It is exciting to again have the energetic vibe of a full salon, with all four of our stations now filled by full-time stylists: Michael, Courtney, Sarah – and our newest addition, Andrew. Andrew is an experienced colour technician and stylist – learn about him here.

Parking Update

While construction on Bank Street and at the back of our building continues, it’s still easy to access the salon and find parking nearby:

• Capital Parking (accessible from either Somerset or Maclaren, near Bank Street). $9.00
• No-name lot at the corner of Somerset and O’Connor. $10.00
• On-street metered parking on the East-bound lane of Somerset

Locks of Love

We’d like to thank the nearly 20 clients who have participated in the Locks of Love hair donation program that provides children being treated for cancer and other diseases with high-quality wigs made of real human hair.

Since becoming a Locks of Love salon just three months ago, we’ve been able to send Locks of Love 17 donations. To learn more about this wonderful (and free) program, please visit our Locks of Love web page.
